Long overdue CNY post

As Darl has been using my laptop for schoolwork, this explains for the delay in the CNY post. Keke. Conveniently blaming Darl cause I always use the laptop to upload the pictures etc etc. Anyway, all collages in this post were done by Char and I just conveniently 'steal' them from her FB. Lazy to do anything similar on my own. Keke.

Little Val was trying our her CNY outfit. My mil could not decide what to dress her in. Aiyah~ Just a toddler. No need so 'long zhong' loh.

Her 2nd outfit, a black velvet dress from Hush Puppies. I felt it was an impulse buy by Hong. Haha. We went into the shop a month ago and Hong sorta fell in love with the dress and bought it. immediately, we went to the shoes shop next door to buy a matching shoes for the dress. Till now, she has yet to wear the dress.

Somehow... Val got frustrated and wants to go for a walk in her new velvet dress. See the frustration on her face.

Are we going? Apparently not cause you can still see Hong and I at the background, ignoring her. Haha.

Decided not to cause she remembered she is not supposed to go out without us.

Finally, my mil played 'the nice guy' and brought her downstairs for a walk. This little devil here knows her routine. Wear shoes, close the door, hold hands and off we go!

1st day of CNY!

Not that many places to visit but I felt tired, partly due to the late nights of mj. We went church in the early morn, home for a nap, ah gong's place, amanda's place and with the final stop at my place. By time we reached home, it was already past 11pm!

All of us cannot seem to get enough of her! All her 'ge yan' expressions. I love it when she is 'ge yan'.

Then xiao gugu entertained Val with bubbles. Val enjoyed it so much that she even 'commanded' xiao gugu not to 'eat snake' by pushing her. Each time xiao gugu stopped to chat with us, Val will push her to remind her not to stop making bubbles.

Did we do anything on Day 2? I can't remember. Ohohoh. We were supposed to have a simple lunch thingy with Pastor John but we were so late that we only managed to be in time to say 'bye'. Keke.

We had a lunch thingy with the HK couple. Lying on the floor and watching TV while waiting for us.

Val's new hair clip from far East. Val is vain!!! Initially, she protested when I clipped her hair. Then I told her she looked pretty and brought her to the mirror. She was convinced she is pretty and refused to take the hair clip off!

She loves this pink hoody outfit too! She is somehow convinced she looks cute in this and always spends a long time admiring herself in the mirror when she wears this.

The same thing just happened 3 hours ago when she changed into her new pink pajamas. She stood in front of the mirror and examined herself from left to right before showing off to Char. *faint*

This was taken this morning during bath playtime. She transformed into a boy and Char just commented this is how our son will look like if we have one. Haha.

Hmm... on 2nd thoughts... This isn't really a post on CNY. It is just another post of Val loh but well~ who is interested reading about me only right?
