Darl is away in China with some of the guys. Everything seem so dull without Darl around, except for Val. Even TV seems boring without Darl around. Though most of the times, he just sits in the room playing his game or surfing net, all programmes seem more interesting with his mere presence. I must have taken him for granted. I should stop flaring at him over the smallest issue cause deep down in my heart, I know he cares for me much more than I care for him. I am just more possessive than he is. Haha. Yes... I know I will change for the better but definitely not through my sheer strength and will.

With the super duper hot weather which makes me super lazy, we drove over to Thomson Plaza for some lunch-cum-dinner and some grocery shopping. Since Val had only 2 sets of pyjamas, I wanted to get her a new set. Yet, the ugly set cost $11.80 and the slightly nicer one cost $18 odd. No way am I going to spend so much on pyjamas loh.

We headed to Peach Garden for some dim sum. If I had knew it was high tea buffet, we would not have our meal there. It cost us $20 each and the food quality is nothing great. In fact, I would not even go there again. I have a high standard for dim sum and the siew mai and har kow is really yucky. I ate it with chilli cause it was THAT BAD and I am not even one who can take spicy stuff. The only good thing is probably the char siew puff. Yes, their food is that bad. Worst dim sum ever.

This is Val's new pose for camera. She will tilt her head for the shoot but she has yet to figure out the right angle. A bit over though and I was worried that she may be out of the frame. Haha.

After the super yucky and not worth the price dim sum, we headed to NTUC. Our dear maid forgot to pack her socks and cardigan so I lent Val mine. Keke. We used it to keep her chubby legs warm.

Val has her gentle side despite her temper. She is 'sayang-ing' the toddler on the wrapper. She just loves to sayang all these 'not breathing' things.

Besaides being nua like us, some of her favourite food are similar to ours too such as potato and chocolate! My mil bought me 2 mini eclairs and this little girl eyed my mini eclairs. Sob sob.

I only wanted to share one with her with the intention to keep the 2nd one for myself later. Yet, she saw the 2nd one and indicated to me that she wanted the 2nd one too. Knowing that was the last one, she finished her portion super fast loh. I ate only like half of the 2nd one. :(
