Brought our little PRINCESS for her first check-up. Nothing much... Just a routine check on her weight, umbilical cord, skin peel etc etc... She is definitely progressing well with her new weight at 2965g. She is simply soooooooooooo adorable. As part of the examination, her doctor stretched her legs. She wailed in protest. The very next minute, she fell asleep in comfort when her doctor flipped her over to examine her back. She fell asleep the very second her stomach touches the bed. Got so comfortable anot???

In addition, she went for the metabolic screening too whereby her right foot was pricked to extract a few drops of blood. Luckily, my MIL went in with her instead. I can't bear to hear her wail in pain. She is soooooooooooo dearie to me.

It definitely cost to have a child. Just the check-up, metabolic screening and registration of birth cost S$200. Well... for her... It is worth everything!

Feeling contented after a meal. You must see her in person too witness how 'ge yan' she is. Sometimes she seems so 'mature' that Iwonder if she is really only a few days old. After a good meal, she never fails to give you a super duper contented smile. Nah... The above is not a good demonstration. Should you attempt to force her to drink any more milk, she will close her eyes immediately and "fall into deep sleep". Seriously... deep sleep. She looks as if she is in dreamland le. Yet, when you put the bottle down, she will open her eyes... look at you... close her eyes again... and smile... At that moment, you will feel like a fool.

She is also definitely a baby who knows how to enjoy life. Yes... Just like her pretty mummy, she enjoys massage too! She always give a high look when she is being massaged. keke.
