Will Ferrell is soon becoming Darl's No. 1 favourite actor! As soon as he noticed this movie featuring Will Ferrell, he has been sub-consciously reminding me that he wants to catch this movie. Well... He is definitely funny but I still have my own hot favourites! Adam Sandler! Rob Schneider! Ben Stiller!
.
This movie is hilarious! Funny! Lame! The 2 step brothers acted totally like kids! Spoilt brats! 10 yrs old kids trapped in a 40 yrs old body! They do real silly things which most children in today's society hardly do anymore because they are becoming more intelligent and are maturing too quickly. They bicker over the small issues, call each others' names, whisper in the middle of night for fear of waking up their parents etc etc... I can't name all the little details but it was these little details that made the movie! I love the part whereby they asked their parents for permission to construct their own buck beds. That particular scene put me in a spot. I wasn't sure who to pity... The parents or the "poor kids". Haha.

On a side note... This is the 1st time that I ever felt busy at work. Well... Partly, we are really short of manpower. The very essence of a student care cantre is manpower. Once you are short of manpower, you need to diversify your attention over many matters, especially when you have close to 150 children in the centre. Yes... We are that short of staff now. As a temporary resort, I was tasked to take over the enrichment lessons for the P2. Initially, I was kinda glad that finally there is some real work to be done. However, though I am taking on only 3 extra lessons each week, I can see the significant increase in the load of work.
.
Strictly speaking, it is not a lot of work. Just addtional of 2 more lesson plans, 3 lessons and markings. Before the add-on, I usually start work at 1pm and end at 6.30pm. Usually, I finish all my lesson plans and markings within that 5 hours plus of work. Since all my free time and attention has been re-diverted to P2, I will need to contribute another hour of work every week just to prepare the stuff for the P2.
.
I am definitely not complaining about the addtional workload but Hong is definitely complaining about it. He thinks I am a workaholic. I think otherwise. I have been nua-ing for so long. So long that I can feel myself turning rusty and mouldy. But well... Health must come first at this juncture. Trying very hard to remind myself...
