Was watching 'Tuesday Report' (the ending portion) when the episode on National Stadium actually rekindled fond memories of the past. I remembered seeing the advertisement and I reminded myself to catch it if possible. As usual, I am too lazy to bother to remember my lousy reminder. While I was switching channels and waiting for the other programme to start, I was actually fortunate enough to catch the ending. Though it was just a 5 minutes, it was enough to bring back all the memories through the different depicts of the National Stadium.

It was kinda strange to actually even mention fond memories of the National Stadium. It was never my hangout. I can't even remember when was the last time I have been to the National Stadium. However, I guessed all my memories came from my 6 years of primary school life. I remembered vividly how we used to look forward to going to the National Stadium for the annual combined school meet. Despite 14 years later, I can remember I had my first taste of 100 plus while queueing to enter the stadium and that was my first and last taste of 100 plus. I am still puzzled how can anyone actually drink such a awful drink. Not forgetting the aunties who will walk around selling the cheap tidbits. The aunites always get us young kids excited. Of course, the main highlight was cheering for our school and the lead runners. It is amazing how Au used to be one of the lead runner. Till today, it is still debatable on whether he or Guoxiong was the fastest runner. Anyway, it doesn't matter now because Au probably having difficulties passing his IPPT le. Sigh~ Weak! Anyway, seeing the episode really bring back memories.

Well... Now that the National Stadium is going to give way... I guess I can only rekindly my past memories via the pictures.
