Somebody keeps complaining that my blog is stagnant. Yes, it is. BUT! You can't blame me!!! I am leading a very stagnant and dull life now. All I ever do in my daily life is sleep, wake up and prepare for work. The norm activities after work are sleep, tv, tuition, counselling classes or more tiring fitting sessions. So what am I supposed to blog about? Well... There might be more things to blog about next week... 1) Me and Hong are going for some personality tests on Thurs as part of the class. 2) I am having my trial make-up and final fitting on Thurs too. (And I am still unhappy with my outdoor gown... I have yet to finalise on my evening gown for the actual day and the tea dress!!!) 3) The photoshoot is on Monday! (Arrgh!!! I have no time for facial before the photoshoot but doesn't bother me much and I have yet to decide on the locations!) I am so behind my schedule.
.
I was feeling kinda down recently cause I feel deprived! I have NO LIFE!!! Till I initiated the shopping session with the gals. The shopping was good but not as great as it used to be. I guessed it is due to me and I have not much idea of what to buy and nothing really aroused my interest or impulse buying. Anyway, the gals bought me a pair of jeans and 2 cardigans as belated birthday presents. Thanks Gals! But the best buy of the day is Yvonne's blue top loh! I really cannot describe how much I love that top and if I have the opportunity to wear it, I would definitely buy it loh!
.
Anyway... Caught 2 movies over the weeks... Three Kingdoms... It would be more interesting if you have some background knowledge on the heroic characters in that particular era. It would be intersting to do a comparison. Anyway, I lack in that area of knowledge and I have never studied that era of history in my uni years. Nothing really bad about the movie except the fighting scenes are super confusing and it makes me a little bit giddy.
.
I also caught the below thinking that it should be a reasonable enough show. Yucks. It is not worth watching at all loh. Feeble plot or should I say nonsensical/ illogical plot? Anyway, the plot makes no sense to me and it hardly links loh. Very 'mian qiang'. I personally feel it is not doing much justice to Donnie Yen. I was expecting some decent fighting scences from him (since Kelly Chan and Leon Lai cannot fight at all) but his fighting scenes are too far and few and nothing spectacular. Even the last finale solo fighting scene came too late and too little. It leaves you craving for more and yet, super unsatisfied. To save everyone's money, I would encourage no one to spend even 6 bucks on the movie tickets. Just grab the cheapest DVD and watch it with everyone else.
