Sun and Moon Dining 110607

Met up with VJ CS ppl for a dinner cum belated Ah Ji's birthday celebration @ Sun and Moon... Dinner was GREAT! With Huiqun's recommendation, we had real good food. There were different kind of maki. One of which is avocado + cheese. I didn't really like the cheese taste. Too cheesy. Eew... Teriyaki foie gras... It was pretty good but there was slight tinge of what I termed as inner organ smell. Dun like... But of course I am an extremely choosy/ fussy/ eater. Salmon spaghetti... Not bad, I pretty like it. Kamameshi (steamed claypot rice)... All right loh~ What I like best is the Hotate Spicy Cream whereby scallops is served together with enoki mushrooms. The scallops is super nice loh! I am not a dessert person but I pretty much like their dessert. Not too sweet. We had the Green Tea Tiamisu and Tofu Cheesecake. The biscuit crust for the cheesecake is as nice as the one I made. Wahahaha.

Apart from the food, it was really nice to meet up with them since our last meet-up in Jan. All of us really go a long way back being in the committee in VJ which was about 8 years ago. It is kind of interesting to see how all of us have grown and how the group still kind of stay together except a few strayed ones.

Everyone is successful and happy in their own fields.

How strange... The place is still the same as it was... But the feel is totally different....
