For the past 3 years, I spent almost every day loving every child who crossed my path. As a result of loving others' children, I have learn how to love and understand my girls and to coach them with love and patience.
.
These were the boys whom I was crazy over when I first joined. Remember the Leonard days? I was so crazy over him that I can't wait to go to work everyday. Even when I was pregnant with Valerie, I always pictured his looks in my mind so that Valerie will be as pretty as Leonard is handsome. Wahaha. That is how crazy I am over him. When no one informed me of his last day, I was pretty upset for around a week. Haha.
.
When Leonard, Luismika and Collin left, I tried to shirt my attention to others. There were some cute ones but none could match up.
.
Even more new loves. Haha. I pretty much love many of the kids in this collage, especially the 2 Samuel, Le Heng, Caleb, Timothy and Johan. Seanna is so cute!
.
The classes I have taught over the 3 years. I should have taken more photos with them. Missed out Andrew's class completely. Sad. Andrew is another boy whom I stared at when I was pregnant with Valerie.
.
Children are so adorable, aren't they? I remembered the 2 difficult students I had when I first joined. I took almost 6 months to break the ice loh.
.
Thinking back... Every class I took was so different in characters. The 1st I took was Xin Min's and Gabriel's class. Their batch (P5) was the oldest batch and I was informed of their naughtiness. I was so strict with them for the first 2 months and they were the only class which I used 'time-out'. I was glad that we had no bad blood and we spent the remaining days playing 'dog and bone'. A competitive and sporting batch.
.
Then I took over Andrew's class. This is probably the quietest class in APC, even till now. Their favourite past-time is talking softly in class. I can still remember how I forced Kai Jie to push in his chair everyday. The few memorable ones are cute Andrew, Joshua, Ze Hao, Edmund, Elijah, Krystelle and the girls who are always late! I wonder why did I not take any picture. I bet cause I was too tired from being pregnant with Valerie.
.
After my 1st maternity break, I took over Ignatius' class. Took a year to build up the rapport with them. Too bad that I had to leave for my 2nd maternity after a year. Though I took a year to build the relationship, I do love everyone of them.
.
After returning in June, I took over the P3 and P1. A new challenge. I have never taught such young children before and I have to use slightly different methods. To be honest, I think I did a bad job at teaching them, especially the P1. Sigh. Too bad that I only spent a month with them.
.
To be honest, I really can't bear to leave the children. They are simply so adorable and I felt guilty leaving them. I feel as if I left them in the lurch but I bet they probably cannot remember Ms Angela by next week. Sigh~
.
Crossed path with so many children but I still love Leonard the most. Saw him at the gate 6 months ago. Grew taller and thinner but cannot remember who I am anymore. To think I was once his saviour and he remembered it for monthsssssssss. Sad. *sob sob*
.
On a side note, children lose their innocent looks as they grew slightly older. There is actually a huge difference when they are in P1 and P2.
.
The past 3 years had a significant influence in my life. I love the children and I look forward to crossing path with them in the future.
