Looking at this post and you will know I have not been updating for more than a month! This is definitely my longest break. Seems to have been busy and yet, I can't exactly spell out what I have been busy with. Maybe looking after Belle and trying to have some time to just myself after she sleeps? Maybe busy eating yummy chicken wings with Dennis and yy? Perhaps, it is just my nua-ness in full force? Whatever it is, I force myself to blog today.

Darl was sweet enough to send me flowers. I knew he will send me flowers on either V-day or my birthday.

Smart right? Don't think you are very smart by gey siao-ing say you need my office address for your office's update. You used the same excuse 5 years ago. Come on~ Give me something new! keke. .

This is something new. I thought it would just be ordinary roses or maybe, tulips. Oh my! These flowers are real heavy with wordings. So sweet of him.

Spent this birthday quietly with Darl bringing me to this Italian restaurant. I was a little skeptical when he told me about it. I mean I am not adventurous when it comes to food. I like safe and simple food. :) .

Appetiser - ham & cheese.

Definitely not something I will order on my own but they are pretty yummy!

Clam soup whereby the number of clams OVERWHELMED the amount of soup. I am definitely not a shell person but this is the 2nd time I actually find clam DELICIOUS. I seriously ate at least half of these clams and I seriously could not resist them.

The main course, Carbonara, seriously pales in comparison.

Darl had their seafood pasta. I think it was not bad. . I like this birthday. Simple. Simple dinner with Darl. Just the 2 of us. The usual family dinner celebration with bro. And not forgetting the tons of blessings I have from my friends and colleagues. . Hmm... Maybe I should make next year a big affair, provided I still look real good for my age. Wahaha. .
