The timely arrival of the 2nd Ng Princess!!!
.
Haha. As I mentioned in my previous post... I wished for the arrival to be right after my shower and hair wash and my wish came true!!! Keke. Everything is just so coincidental and perfect (in a way).
.
It all happened with Valerie having a mild fever at 5.30am and all of us were woken up by her. Since we have no fever medication at home, we decided to bring her to see her doctor (@ Mt E) 1st thing in the morning. At around 8am, I felt the 1st contraction. I wasn't too sure if it is IT but I packed my bag (just in case). Just before reaching the hospital, I confirmed 18th March is the day. Other than the confirmation from the regular contractions, I had 3 people sms-ing me about the delivery in the early morning out of nowhere.
.
Since the pain was bearable, I brought Valerie for her check-up before proceeding to my gynae for a check-up before admission. Upon confirmation by my gynae, I had Mac for lunch before admission at 12 noon. Keke. I saved 1 day of hospital's bill by admitting after 12 noon.
.
Anyway... After the routine checks, I had my epidural almost immediately. Therefore, I was spared from ALL pain this time round. Keke. Just like the last time, I fell alseep and was woken by the nurse and gynae at 4pm that I was almost ready for delivery. I remembered my 1st statement to them after my nap is "Huh? I still want sleep leh." Anyway... It took me less than 30 minutes and the 2nd Ng Princess is out!!!
.
The standard must-have family shot.
.
When Valerie was born, I could not bring myself to look at her as she was so blue!!! When No. 2 was born...
.
Nurse: Mummy, carry the baby.
Me: NO!!!! I don't want!!!! Don't bring to me!!!!
.
My screams fell on deaf ears. Yucks! She is so sticky.
.
Valerie visited us on both days.

So far so good. Valerie is adapting well to the presence of mei mei. Other than being freaked out on the 1st few days by her cries, poo and umbilical cord, she is getting used to her. She will sayang mei mei, attempt to feed mei mei her milk, insist we carry mei mei when she cries etc etc. I can foresee them having a good time playing together in half a year's time. :D
.
As for this 2nd princess... All I can say is she is a sleepyhead. She is so sleepy that she hardly drinks her milk in the hospital. In a way, I had more time for rest and I was spared from the torture of breastfeeding. Haha. Lesser feeds = lesser pain. Keke. No matter how you shake her, call her, tickle her, she just sleeps.
.
.
Trying to wake her up with the weight of cupcake. She still sleeps.
.
Sometimes, she attempts to open her eyes but it just results in funny faces.
