I am away from work for the entire week! I woke up on Monday with a backache, slight sore throat and an upcoming flu. I think I caught a cold over the weekend. I guess it accumulated from the long walk at Botanic Garden with the children on Friday, the not-so-good shopping trip on Saturday and the 2 hours of children church with Val on Sunday. The killer must have been the outing. I have never walked so much in any of my pregnancies.It is so not healthy. Anyway, I saw the doctor twice and was given 4 days of mc. Though the cold was kinda under control, the congestion feeling and irritation is enough to disturb my sleep for the entire week. I hardly catch a wink till early morning. Am on the road to recovery slowly as I am not taking the medication. Not taking any chance with the medication at this stage.

Though I was away from work for the entire week, I completed the MC script!!! Haha.

Other than spending some time with Val at home, I enjoyed myself this week. I spent the days nuaing with Val and the evening hanging out with friends. If I work this week, I probably would not meet up with so many people in this week. I met up with the girls on Tue, HZ and YX on Wed and WKG, Jimmy together with Darl last night. I enjoyed every single night out, especially last night. It has been a long time since I last go chill but it is kinda weird when I was drinking hot tea while the rest was sipping white wine and WKG had to remind me that the people were staring at me and wondering why was a pregnant woman at such a place. Haha.

I realised the last time I upload Val's pictures was on her 1st birthday. So many pictures were taken by Char over the past month and I am so lazy to upload them one by one. So I did a random collage and here are the pictures!

Finally, I brought her a proper toothbrush and she was kinda fascinated by it. In fact, she has always been fascinated by us brushing our teeth. I tried to let her get used to the idea of brushing by allowing her to assist me in brushing my teeth. I guess somehow it works?

The not so glam side of Val. Keke. She dresses very nua at home with very messy hair and sits very nua while watching TV. That's the nua TV princess on the top left hand corner.

This is so random. Pictures were taken when she was out with the elderly and Char. The first comment Char told me was Val took a very close picture with Grandma. Apparently, we all have a different definition of 'close'. Haha. It looks more forceful than close to me. Haha.
