Stealing some time from work. Keke. Since we had such a wonderful time in Hong Kong, I will try my best to share the good experiences (without any pictures). Hehe.

For this trip, we did not stay over at the usual small HK hotels. Instead, we stayed over at xiao gugu's place. A very neat and nice condo at HK island. I like the place and neighbourhood. However, the 6 days of sleep over at her place was a torture!!! That explains why I am so tired!!! She probably has the hardest bed!!! The minute we lied on it, we concluded that it is Seahorse Brand and true enough, it is! How can anyone enjoy their sleep on such a bed? It was so hard that I could not even feel Darl toss and turn in bed. Putting the bed aside, the stay and trip was great. We truly enjoyed and appreciated xiao gugu's hospitality. She brought us to the best shopping deals, best eating places and she paid for most of our stuff (first). As usual, we did not change any HK/ RMB currency.

HK hoisted No. 3 typhoon signal when we landed in HK. The flight to HK was kinda bumpy that I became motion sick and puked twice on plane. By midnight, it was No. 8. However, I was sleeping like a dead log that I did not hear the strong winds howling at all. Haha.

We had our first dinner over at xiao gugu's friend's place. At Mid Peak. WOW!!! Now... I understand why the actresses in HK drama serials always aspire to live at the Peak or marry some rich guy who lives at the Peak. Haha. When you look up to the Peak, it has this mystic fairyland feeling. At that instant, I thought it was fairlyand at the Peak. I seriously had the idea of 'happily ever after' at the Peak. Anyway... We had dinner at Mr and Mrs Tan's place. A luxurious place compared to xiao gugu's condo (xiao gugu's condo is already fantastic!). That was our 1st feast in HK. They prepared so much food (simple fare though) that Darl was forced to eat double his usual portion. We were so full that we wanted to reject any more food but Mrs Tan didn't allow us to. She has this air in her whereby she subtly dictated where we sit, what to eat and how much to eat. Haha. I must say... They are very nice and humble couple despite being RICH.

After dinner, Mr Tan pulled Darl for some serious discussion on planes while I stayed with Mrs Tan and xiao gugu for the usual women shopping conversation. After admiring their beautiful view and Mr Tan's collection of fossiled dinosaurs eggs, we headed home for sleep~
