Huiqun's Wedding - 041008

Just managed to get the photos from Jess Mei's Facebook... After 2 weeks... Nah... The delay is not exactly caused by me not being on Facebook but rather she also uploaded them late. She only uploaded them on 121008 loh!

Dinner was held at Mandarin Oriental but Darl alighted me at the wrong hotel and I had to make a short detour on my own. Well... It wasn't far at all but somehow I did snapped at Darl for alighting me at the wrong venue. My fuse was kinda short that week. I snapped super easily.

Hmm... I am not sure what's Huiqun's husband name. They have been together for 8 years but I have never seen him before though he is a 'legendary' figure among us. Haha.

The official table shot. Apparently, I am the only one looking into Jess Mei's camera. Well... It was obvious the official photographer has already taken the official table shot using the official camera so... of course, must turn over to our little unofficial camera liao right. Then these people accused me of spoiling the photo and the caption for the photo is 'Weixian is the only one not focusing'. Yeah right~

Yang Meng left early. Haven't seen her for years... Was never close to her though. Anyway, it is really a small world. She is Darl's and guys' sec sch mates so they all knew one another. But with the guys' nua characters, she probably disliked (and still dislike) them. Haha. I can sense it. She was (and will never be) never really friendly towards me because I was one of the most nua in the society (excluding Jess Mei who is our junior).

For Ah Luan's sake, I asked if she was free for supper after dinner. Anyway, she was surprised to know that I knew the guys but she still doesn't know I married Darl. I guess they dislike each other. Haha.

Anyway... It doesn't matter to anyone.

Luckily, I still managed to fit into this dress rather comfortably.

Didn't manage to take any pictures with Huiqun. She was so busy!!! The night was too packed with 3 videos and 40 odd tables. I didn't like the food though and the serving time between each dish was too long. Oh! But I LOVE the chocolate. The chocolate is extremely yummy loh!!! Each guest was given 2 chocolate pieces placed in a cufflink lookalike box. In the end, I ate 3 pieces of the chocolates. Keke. Since Yang Meng left early, I ate her share. Oh! And the cufflink lookalike box is nice too. In the end, we gave all our boxes to Junbin who really wanted to use them to keep his cufflinks. He took home at least 6 boxes but he didn;t have that many pairs of cufflinks to start off with...

The whole dinner only ended at 11.30pm. Late~
