Kids' Kampong

First holiday outing with APC and we made our way to Kids' Kampong. Never knew that there is such a place in Singapore till I was tasked to plan the outings for them. A rather small (ulu) area with various activities for the kids. I personally think it is fun (!!!) except that the hot weather took a toll on me and now, I am down with runny nose and sore throat etc etc.

3 silly posers... Dwayne & Eden & Leonard (in the background). They were just nua-ing around till I asked them for a photo shoot, then Dwayne put on his shades and Eden had a hard time adjusting his cap. Vain! *faint*.

Heidi & Mika & Arnold. Not quite sure for what reason... Heidi was pretty moody for that day. Oh... She is the prettiest girl in P1 (as claimed by the P1 boysssss).

Over @ Kids' Kampong, we started the day with a Pet Show where the children are exposed to various small animals such as rabbits, mice, gerbils etc etc.

Side Note: The one in cap (Gavin) is Leonard's elder brother (one year difference only).

Then... "Long Kang" fishing. I had my share of fun by fishing for my prince (cause he is venting shao ye tantrum for not catching any fishes) and "begging" for fishes to give to my prince. Haha.

Rod Fishing which costs 3 bucks per fish.

Amos and his catch from Rod Fishing. You are not allowed to bring home your catch. You bring your catch to the counter and they will weigh your catch. You are allowed to redeem fighting fish or baby lobster or terrapin according to the weight of your catch.

See the fan behind? It was super duper hot and I was already perspiring like mad loh. I regretted for not bringing my own fan. In the midst of the hot weather, I had to appease Mika who was angry with me for being nicer to Leonard and appease Leonard who was angry with Mika for being "greedy" by touching the animals more than once etc etc... Appease Mika again cause Leonard used my camera to take a picture of me (the above picture) and appease Leonard who was still angry with Mika...
