Many Gains & yet No Loss
.
After 2 months at my new workplace, I have gotten used to the working hours, tiredness and most importantly, leading THE lifestyle that our current package allows now. keke. The pay adjustment may seem like a lot. Yes! Indeed it is a lot especially with my super heavy liability now. However, I still manage to lead a comfortable lifestyle with the dinners, drinks and shopping treats. In fact, I am buying even more things now!!! Yes, I am managing well. SUPER WELL. So... Stop controlling my spending, Bec! keke.
.
This is a superb weekend with nearly no spending out of my own pockets and yet, I got the below:-
1. Polo Ralph Perfume (all thanks to Daddy who get it as a gift for me after his Taiwan trip at DFS. keke. I saved S$100.)
2. 4 pairs of "half" socks to match my new shoes (Charlene bought it for me from her Bangkok trip. The Ng family has the habit of buying many socks. -_-)
3. A pair of neatly design shorts (courtesy from Hong's Mama.)
4. A Fairy design bracelet @ only S$7 (I got it at the night flea market at Clarke Quay)
.
Originally, I asked Charlene to help me get either a beige bag or YSL perfume but since she couldn't find it, she replaced it with 4 pairs of socks. Saved me the trouble of buying it on my own. keke.

We tried to have a budget and family-oriented weekend. Since all of us decided to go budget after the expensive Korean BBQ dinner last weekend, we headed for Teochew porridge at AMK. Only S$24 for 6 pax and we did have our fill. However, it didn't turn out to be that budget when we spent S$100 at Brewerks for drinks and snacks. It just doesn't sound right when the drinks cost 4 times more than dinner. -_-
.
Recently, we cultivated the habit of playing "horse" to settle the dinner bill. Each of us will take turns to guess how much is the dinner per pax. If the next party feels that the above mentioned price is what he believed to be, he will pay the price. However, if the next member feels it can be lower, he will call for a lower price. So far, the bigger winner and loser is Lincoln. He won the last time round at a super sumptuous chicken rice dinner and he only paid S$4 for it. keke. His luck didn't last that long. He paid at least S$40 for drinks last night. haha. Oh... Do try the... hmm... Black Bottom Pie @ Brewerks (I think...) Actually it is just frozen chocolate ice cream with thick chocolate syrup but YUMMY! and sinful~
